Smoke and mirrors

Cruel But Fair was formed from the remnants of the original Apple Lips Brothers in 1995 and has played under the guises of The Stupid Club and Psyche.
Original members Nigel Bagley (drums), Paul Cooklin (bass and keyboards), Simon Page (vocals & guitar), Mark Wragg (guitars & other stringed things).
Since 2005, when Paul's work took him elsewhere, CBF has been a 3-piece, with Simon now on bass and vocals.
Four studio albums with extremely sensible titles:
Checking for Squirrels (2002)
Vorsprung Durch Bhuna (2004)
Parsley Crisis (2009)
The Nine Lives of Henry the Cat (2013) 

.... and the bleakest yet strangely uplifting album, Altona, coming in 2014. (We'll be putting up tasters very soon)

Meanwhile, we'll be uploading a veritable pot pourri, or pick n' mix of live and studio -- even some rehearsal -- recordings that have been lurking on old minidiscs for years: CBF Off the Beaten Track - vols 1 & 2.
