Mine

I wrote and recorded this song about a year ago and never felt confident in it. I've come to realize that it is not always about the end product when it comes to music, its about how far you can take a piece and grow with it. It is important to remember the journey, so I am sharing part of that with the people who listen to my music. The final version of this song will be released this summer on my upcoming album recorded with Shady Town Studios!

I woke up at 3:47am on Friday the 13th and wrote the first verse of this song. It's raw and unedited and exactly how I'm feeling. I'm not one to typically voice my view on politics, like many other people in this country and its about time that changes. Too many of us are silent.
