Get Physical Music revisits Groove Armada's 2014 hit 'Rescue Me' and serves it up with a Roland Leesker edit as well as an all-new remix from DJ Island. 

'Rescue Me' was part of the iconic British dance duo's Stairwell Felony EP and has remained an underground favourite. The original is raw, deep and full of twists and turns from the frazzled melodies to the jazzy sax motifs. The house drums hit hard with splintered edges, while a 90s bassline brings the heady vibe as a classic soul vocal lights up a track that is always keeping you guessing. 

The excellent remix comes from DJ Island, one-half of Get Physical duo Monkey Safari and a long-time student of house music. His version is more tense and restyled with a tech house feel. The steamy vocals tease and please before the big drums drop and classic piano chords bring the colour to an emotive ride 

Roland Leesker's You Got To Dance Edit goes bigger still - the chords get more twisted, the drums are supersized and the crunchy hits burst out of the speakers to make an immediate impact. At the breakdown, things take a wonderful left turn with a trippy whistle and big chanting male vocals that take things to another level entirely. 

This is a trio of fresh house cuts all designed for slightly different moments in the night.

Cameron Jack teams up with Stones & Bones to deliver something truly special with their collaborative single ‘Ancestral Praise’ featuring Reine Mash.

The single sees London born Cameron Jack follow on from a slew of successful releases with ABRACADABRA, as well as a remix for Damian Lazarus’ iconic Crosstown Rebels imprint. South African duo Stones & Bones have been busy themselves, with their self-described “Afro-Rock” sound finding homes on labels such as Merecumbe Recordings, Movement Limited and Spitfire Music.

Cameron explains; “Casper and KG (Stones & Bones) reached out asking if I wanted to collaborate on one of their records for their latest release. They sent me a selection of really nice tracks to pick from. The minute I heard the vocal on Ancestral Praise I knew it was the one. I love working with uplifting vocals like this. Music for the soul!”
