'Zilgit' is a sound made by moving the tongue quickly in the mouth, to show great happiness at celebrations in the Southeastern of Anatolia. It expresses the feeling of people coming together to celebrate the life. 'Yallah' is an Arabic expression which is similar to 'let's go' as we invite you to dance to IWR075.

AHU PREMIERE: KYAK - Yallah (Original Mix) [Inward Records]

Auggië delivers a multi-dimensional experience through his upcoming Overloop EP, starting off by interlacing a labyrinth of mundane rhythms and ingenious electronic incisions. Layering metallic gradients, fluid elements and scopic resonance, the title track cascades gracefully, basking in lulls and forward momentum. The Milan-based artist teams up with Adrian Roman to render a penetrating cerebration on human/digital coexistence. A symphony of raw instrumentals, stirring climaxes, and cybernetic sounds, "Preliminary Instructions" echoes the dissonance between fear of automation and optimism in technology. Vast, enigmatic and addictive. Wrapping up the release, Auggië spools crisp acoustic contrivances, effusive undulation and orbitual patterns in "CiChita." Intricate and plangent, this dynamic finale drives home with locomotive intensity, voltaic grit and celestial ambitions.

This really explores the diverse facets of her sound, voice and inspirations taking shape as a name to watch and for music lovers around the globe to explore her music and connect more deeply to her as an artist through a crafted body of work.

The release has been made over six months with the real back drop of war in the Ukraine on her doorstep and it's hard not to notice the references and impact this has had on her music.

The first single, ‘I Saw The Devil’ is an indie dance meets house gem which presents her unique and inimitable style of electronic dance music heavily influenced by house and techno, but taking in more leftfield songwriting and performances. Lead track ‘Eternity’ is organic house instrumentation with a warm summer shimmering bliss with an indie dance and alt house edge.
‘Louder’ is a driving harder edged house sound pushing into progressive and melodic house territory with deep, progressive synths working up tension and interplaying with a really captivating vocal that's made for big systems and will have you singing along. While ‘Silk’ and ‘Be Together’ flex Rena’s club muscles with deeper workouts and pulsating synths for DJ sets using faster drum work, driving hats and percussions and hypnotic entrancing live analog synth patches.'

Get Physical Music serve up Drega & Maline Aura's 'Mama Dear' next to a remix by former Audiofly member Luca Saporito.

The original of this single was a standout on Africa Gets Physical, Vol. 4 by Thandi Draai, and now gets a standalone release. Born and raised in South Africa, Drega epitomises the rich, compelling sound of his home country in each intricate production, never more so than with the hypnotic vocals of Maline Aura on this single and ensuing cuts like 'Vela' on Sondela Recordings. 'Mama Dear' has subtle beauty and dreamy melodies that soon get you in a loved-up reverie, full of hope and optimism.

Remixer Luca Saporito has done it all over a storied career in the underground. With Audiofly he has become an Ibiza mainstay, played all over the world many times and has plenty of credits on top labels like this one, Crosstown Rebels and Mobilee. Now going solo he is delving deeper into his unique signature sound.

His remix of 'Mama Dear' is an enchanting one that sinks into a late-night groove with wispy synths and enchanting vocals that send shivers down the spine. There are freaky little sound designs to bring the groove to life as the chords bring real soul and class before plunging bass notes make their mark.

This is a great reinterpretation of a still superb original and will be followed by a brand new edition of the Africa Gets Physical series later this year, once again compiled by Thandi Draai.
