2014 was a definitely a huge year for dance music, with many up and coming artists being thrown into the lifestyle of hectic partying and relentless touring schedules. This also means that those who exploded onto the scene prior are no longer the new kids on the block. A few years is a long time in the life of a DJ, and the first few years are often the maddest.

The Adana Twins are a perfect example of one of these artists, having emerged onto the scene in 2012 with releases such as ‘Everyday’ and ‘Strange’, from the off it was clear that they had everybody’s undivided attention.' (Pulse Radio)

With DJ names like Take It Easy and Friso, it’s probably to be presumed that German duo Adana Twins don’t take themselves too seriously. That tongue in cheek attitude could be heard on their first productions and remixes. 

It’s now almost almost three years later and the Twins' music vision is constantly developing.

After their highly anticipated release ’Drive feat. Khan’ from 2014 the 2 boys from Hamburg are finally back on Exploited. 'Bleeding‘ features vocal snippets from LA based Human Life. This anthem has been causing massive feedback in their DJ-Sets so far. We hope you like it too.

Satori´s latest Album “In Between Worlds” gets its second round of Remix Treatments. First Mix is coming from Satori´s good friend and former release partner El Mundo who turned “Compulaire” into a hypnotical tech house version. Second is Just Emma and the duo made a perfect dancefloor suitable mix of “Pink & Orange Sky” – likewise Britta Arnold did this to “Compulaire” and spiced it with a acidish bassline. Norwegian duo Of Norway have chosen “Tuti” and mixed it with groovy and relaxed beats – perfect for the morning after hours. For the way home Alexander Christian´s Remix of “Ehsan” is the best companion. Last but not least we have Joney who turned “Pink & Orange Sky” into a powerful crossover Mix somewhere between Broken Beats and Electronica.

Exploited Recordings has put together a new remix package to update the tune for today's dance floors - including stellar takes from German Brigante and Russ Yallop - and Magnetic Magazine is proud to exclusively premiere DJ T's own take on the track.
This DJ T remix retains the blissed-out atmospherics of the original, engaging them underneath a throttling bass line and rolling hits for an ecstatic breakdown. Thanks to the vocals this one has a kind of Africa vibe to it. However, the track is also very dreamy and spacy which gives this track such a unique feeling. The combination works wonders. Together with heavy brass sounds, airy leads and the implementation of a strong groove this is one hell of a track!

Wo die beiden Haudegen denn überhaupt herstammen, weiß eigentlich niemand so genau - Gerüchten zufolge verhalf ihnen die gemeinsame Vorliebe zum Sprottenfang zum ersten schicksalsträchtigen Zusammentreffen irgendwo an der norddeutschen Küste. Glaubt man diversen Munkeleien, verlor Zadak bei einer Razzia der Fangbehörde seine Hose, Kotelett wegen einer Überdosis von Selbstgebranntem den Kutter-Führerschein und beide Ihr Fischerei-Lizenz. Zack, weg war die Lebensgrundlage

Was blieb ihnen also anderes übrig, als übernächtig und vernebelt Skipperflucht ins Landesinnere zu begehen, wo niemand sie beim Namen kannte. "Ab jetzt machen wir in Platten", soll sich einer der beiden in den Bart gemurmelt haben, wer, ist jedoch nicht belegt. Alles in allem aber eine rein logische Entwicklung, denn die Nächte haben sie sich sowieso schon immer um die Ohren geschlagen - die dicksten Dinger gehen schließlich ins Netz, wenn alle Katzenfische grau sind.

Schnell tauschten sie also Rute gegen Regler, Backbord gegen Backspin und Nebelhorn gegen Nebelmaschine. Was früher filetiert wurde, wurde nun gefiltert, was gefischt wurde, gepitcht. Seither schrubbten sie nie wieder Decks - sie bespielten sie ab jetzt. 

Wo auch immer sie heute vor Anker gehen: Stets weht eine steife Bassbrise, Schallwellen schlagen höher und kein Schnapsglas bleibt trocken. Jede Meerjungfrau würde ihre Unschuld sofort in ein paar ordentliche Tanzschuhe eintauschen, angezogen und fast wahnsinnig werdend vom unverkennbaren Sound der beiden selbsternannten Clubsirenen. Wer sich nicht am Tresen festhält, der wird von ihrer Musik mitgerissen wie seinerzeit die Sprotten vom Fangnetz.

Auch nach tagelang dauernden Sets und hochprozentig versoffener Gage verrät ein Blick in ihre von der rauhen Clubluft gegerbten Gesichter: Kotelett und Zadak sind sich bis heute immer treu geblieben und bringen zusammen, was einfach zusammen gehört: Musik, Mensch und magische Momente. 

(Die Fangbehörde dazu: "Wir sind einfach nur froh, daß wir sie endlich los sind."
