Back in 2015, Mancunian DJ and Producer Hidden Spheres aka Tom Harris joined the Rhythm Section family for our twelfth release. Storming into 2022 and approaching 50 releases Tom has a long overdue return to the label with a synthesis of electronic house vibrations.

‘You Are Not Your Body’ is a stellar collection of five tracks, which touch on the sensations of euphoria and the blissed-out intersection between early prog and Detroit House. Channelling energies for meditation and self love, things kick off with ‘Improvisation’ an electro infused eight minute workout, whilst ‘Euan 92’ is a festival-defining ‘hands-in-the-air’ anthem tried and tested by Bradley Zero on the road throughout 2021.

Love Your Body is a delightful disco-esque chugger reinforcing joyful energies and an infectious bass line to keep you wiggling on the dance floor. Things come to a close with a spaced out balearic house remix by RS family favourite Ruf Dug.

El siguiente invitado para nuestra serie de mixes en colaboración con Mixtlan es  Big Pack.    

Enrique Jiménez, aka Big Pack, es el dueño del sello House Salad Music. Descubrió su amor por la música electrónica a mediados de los 90's cuando asistía a fiestas de house y techno con DJ locales. A partir de entonces, comenzó su íntima historia de amor con la música house volviendose fanatico del sonido de Chicago y el jazzy house parisimo.  La tarea de descubrir música se convirtió en un ciclo infinito y la colección de discos dió inicio. Después de 11 años recorriendo pistas de baile como espectador e intentando ser dj, en 2005 adquirió sus primeras tornamesas technics 1200 (un poco tarde) y al tener una colección de vinilos suficiente, decidió aventurarse profesionalmente en el mundo del DJ.
Ahora, con algunos años de experiencia, Big Pack ha tocado en clubes importantes en México, abriendo para artistas como Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Larkin, Derrick Carter, Phil Weeks, Wally Callerio, Andrew Emil, JT Donaldson, Oliver Dollar, 1200 Warriors, por nombrar algunos.

Ahora forma parte de la programación semanal de Radio Webphre en Canada, ademas de manejar su propio podcast y sello, House Salad Music, con los mejores DJs de música house a nivel mundial. 

Convencido de la atemporalidad de la música, sus mezclas son un verdadero túnel del tiempo, donde toca clásicos combinados con lo más moderno de la casa moderna
