

1.When David found Mephibosheth, in kindness, grace and love,
He loved him with the love of God, love men do not know of.
The crippled one was lost in sin, yet grace he did receive,
When he was fetched from Lodebar he hardly could believe...

Such kindness, compassions, 
God's mercy,
benevolent goodness, 
In Jesus,
our Savior God, the love of God appeared,

2.Now we much like Mephibosheth were crippled, weak, and dry,
A sinner far away from God without a life supply;
Then God appeared through Jesus Christ and brought us to a feast,
Now at the table of the King the riches are released.

3.Surpassing riches of God's grace in kindness we have found.
