Chicago-based producer Zvrra is an advocate of techno in its many forms. Crediting the 2003 video game Midnight Club 2 as the starting point for her love of the genre, it's since this point she's been dreaming up her own genre-hopping productions that have ranged from industrial to tribal, ambient and house, showcasing her meticulous approach to sound and a distinct sense of texture and atmosphere.

Alongside producing and DJing, she also works in the world of video game development, a field that, when it comes to style and concepts, has continued to feed into her musical output including releases for Rare Type and Avian.

Hot on the heels of her debut LP Bizarroland, she he gets us over the midweek hump, taking us on a wild, pacy ride through diverse shades of techno. Buckle up!

Inspired by the communal and contemplative aspects of techno, Simone instills the natural beauty of his home city, Terni, into every aspect of his productions and DJ sets. The mix he has given us is immediately impressive, deliberately mixed and weaving deftly through a series of gorgeous, understated tracks. This is truly a journey of the highest order, and we're excited to share it.

There's nothing quite like a trip down memory lane, especially if it means we get to re-live one of our absolute favourite On the 5th Day gatherings.

Go back in time to July 21st 2018... following a good few months of excited anticipation, we finally welcomed the hugely talented, boundary pushing electronic music virtuoso, ASC (James Clements) to Corsica Studios, and heck was it immense!

The night left a beautiful imprint on our hearts and minds. The love and appreciation in the room for what was ASC's only European gig of that trip was cosmic, and the energy on the dance floor pure magic from the start to finish.

We couldn't help but dig through the archives to retrieve his hybrid set from the night and we've no doubts that settling into it will give you as much happiness as it did us.

Big love and thanks to ASC, and to all of you who were a part of it. Absolutely one for the books!

As a resident DJ of @ankali club he co-curates the regular Yuggadus nights, which follow similar patterns as his own imprint does.
