Franz Scala’s sets are as diverse as the music he curates as label head of Slow Motion. Weaving smoothly between Italian Dance, Psychedelic Disco and Proto House, Franz quickly turns the dance floor into a vignette-tainted retro nostalgia rave fueled only by his music.

Born in Italy and now a resident of Berlin for a decade Franz has his roots in noise rock and elettronica but was led by the record collectors passion into acquiring a taste for modern and not so modern dance floor music. He frequently inspires dancers in clubs all over Europe with his eclectic blend of spacey House, New Wave, Italo and Acid speckled with hints of Electro and Chicago House. 

Aside from producing on his own imprint, he has releases on World Unknown, Bordello A Parigi, Bahnsteig 23, Tusk Wax, Mechatronica or Discodromo´s Cocktail d’Amore Music.

Franz is link to many events around the german capital such as the monthly Wrong Era, Italian Dance Wave and Italorama night in Panorama Bar, Magic Waves or New Dance Fantasy Festival. Beside long time collaboration with Sameheads he is regular dj at Griessmuhle and Salon zur Wilden Renate.

In 2013 he joined Dimitri SoEmotional in the “Studio Luce” project

Philoxenia Records boss man Luigi Di Venere continues to blur the boundaries between traditional genres with a new EP that takes its inspirational cues from the multidimensional nature of sound waves.

The title reflects the depth and motion captured in the EP's stunning artwork by CGI duo muzzin+samiri while the opener is a tribute to early 90s Frankfurt EBM. 'By Means Of Music' brings a funkier vibe with New Beat undertones and real warmth. 'Got Momentum' comes through with a French house edge.

On the flip, Cromby transforms 'Got Momentum' into a euphoric UK peak-time anthem. Last but not least, Cycle_2, the duo composed by Budino and Torvvo, closes us off with a fresh take on 'By Means Of Music' embarking on a psychedelic techno trip.

...Das war die Geschichte über die Entstehung des Namens. Entschuldigung, wenn ich da jetzt ein wenig ausgeholt habe, aber somit ist das lang gehütete Geheimnis endlich gelüftet. 
Bevor wir nun zur letzten Zusendung kommen noch einmal der Hinweis, dass ihr uns jederzeit gerne eure Fragen und Musikwünsche über Knuddels, Jappy oder ICQ zukommen lassen könnt.
Der letzte Musikwunsch kommt von unserer lieben Zuhörerin Gina aus Neukölln. Gina schreibt:

Hallo Prosetscho-FM,
meine Freunde und ich sind gerade aus der Bucht nach Hause geschippert und freuen uns jetzt auf eine gemütliche Afterhour zwischen Sekt auf Eis und Pizza von nebenan.
So sehr wir auch von der guten elektronischen Musik nicht genug bekommen konnten, wäre es super, wenn ihr unsere Afterhour mit eurem Sound begleiten könntet. Ein wenig Gitarre hier, ein bisschen Plattenknistern da und das ganze umhüllt vom Geist vergangener Zeiten.

Diesen Wunsch können wir Gina natürlich nicht verwehren und auch alle anderen da draußen an den Empfangsgeräten, schließt mal die innere Gardine und zündet ein paar Kerzen an. Schiebt noch einmal ein paar ruhige Stunden zwischen euch und den kommenden Montagmorgen und lasst uns gemeinsam den Tönen lauschen, die die Musik zu dem machte, was sie war, als Freddie Mercury noch selber Afterhours schmiss, Eltern wegen Bowie ihre Kinder David nannten, der Club27 noch nicht gegründet war und Rock´n Roll aus mehr bestand, als aus einer Cafe-Kette im Zentrum von Metropolen.
