Du 13 au 24 octobre, au Nord du Parc de la Villette se tiendra la troisième édition du festival Bizarre. Entre rencontres, ateliers, expos, fêtes, émissions de radio et clubbing, retrouvez notamment le 14/10 à la folie, la première soirée We Us, à l'initiative de la DJ Desire qui est venue faire transpirer notre fin d'été avec un set entre trance et techno.

Special Partyzanai Broadcast episode dedicated to CMRK “Poisoning EP” pre-launch, which will be released on the 18th of December on Gars Records. The EP will be available in digital format and on handmade vinyl, limited to 20 copies worldwide. In the first hour of the radio show Mantas T. interviews shortly the EP author CMRK and special guests QUELZA (Mord, 47, FR) and Y2kati aka Karkasas. Later GARS founders Mantas T. and Karkasas teamed up for the b2b dj set. On the second hour QUELZA took over by presenting his unique cinematic sound. On the third hour CMRK „Poisoning“ EP got premiered and executed by EP author himself.

He co-founded SPOKEN back in early 2020 alongside Lucius, attracting to, promoting and getting inspired by artists on the platform that push the envelope of electronic music. Although he combines tracks from various eras and genres in his own sets, innovation and thinking outside the box have always been the main goal.

Mind Games is an underground techno label from Italy ran by Luca Maniaci that has featured artists like Linear System and Esteban Miranda.

Antidote MT is a promising Malta-based producer with releases on Robert Hoff's trau-ma, Linear System's Modern Minimal, Juan Trujillo's Simplecoding, Bruno Ledesma's Concepto Hipnotico and Fon's Subsist amongst others.

Label boss Luca Maniaci is an established artist who lists labels such as Florian Meindl's FLASH Recordings and Josh Wink's Ovum in his back catalogue.

Expect to hear raw, hypnotic, analogue techno with spacey atmospherics and modular elements...

PREMIERE: Antidote MT - Eutropium (Luca Maniaci Remx) [Mind Games Recordings]

Pushmaster Discs and Mattia Trani are proud to present the remixes for the Italian producer’s last album “Scenery”. Mattia invited his favourite producers of the past and present to create their own vision of his music.

The remix album is due 30 June and will be released on vinyl, split in 3 parts, and digital.

Up first are Detroit legend Robert Hood and pioneer Luke Slater as Planetary Assault Systems. Both remixed “One More Step”, leading the minimalistic tool into more percussive realms.
Ken Ishii, Mattia’s favourite producer from the 90s, reworked “Scenery” adding timeless Japanese futuristic atmospheres to the track.
Marcel Dettmann delivered a, for him, unusual 122bpm deep house banger through his version of “Videogame” which features vocals by Theo Nasa.
On the second 12”, the best hard-techno producers and djs of the moment Alignment, Indira Paganotto and Lee Ann Roberts, gave “Biologic Horror”, “End of Days” and “No Future” a 2023 treatment. Paul Ritch and Luigi Madonna complete the line up with their old school acid versions.
Finally, the third vinyl sees Mattia’s close friend Fedele remix “Scenery” into a melodic hit.
Wrapping things up are K91, Matgroove and Gianma Bln, all upcoming artists from Italy and students at Mattia’s music academy. Each of them tackled “Endless Optimism” but whilst K91 explored breaks, Matgroove took a deeper route and Gianma Bln played with razor sharp arrangements.

Cette année, notre résidente Aérienne débute une résidence live dans les studios Line Out, où elle recevra les DJ qui font la scène et l'actualité des musiques électroniques. Une émission axée sur les femmes qui évoluent sur la scène, avec comme première invitée Abs8lute !

Derrière le nom ABS8LUTE se cache une diggueuse passionnée de musique. Ses explorations sonores et festives initiées à l’adolescence forgent sa culture musicale et électronique jusqu’à l’amener dans les méandres de la trance et de la techno rave, ses genres de prédilection.

Avec ses sets, elle aime donc transporter son auditoire en mission spatiale dans des voyages cosmiques mais toujours énergiques. Vitesse de croisière : 143 bpm.

Activiste musicale, elle oeuvre tant derrière les platines que dans la sphère des musiques électroniques, notamment en écrivant pour plusieurs médias de musique, en animant des conférences et des talks sur l’inclusion pour Technopol et la Paris Electronic Week et par la création du Vénus Club, collectif de femmes DJs pour favoriser la représentation des femmes dans les line-ups.

Valeur montante de la scène française, Abs8lute a récemment fait ses débuts au mythique Berghain, et enchaine les projets pour cette saison 2023-2024. Elle en parlera ce vendredi à l'invitation d'Aérienne, dont cette résidence live promet d'être passionnante toute cette année !
