10 years…

I did my first X-Mas Mixtape 10 years ago, full of memories after my very first trip to Japan. Ever since, I’ve been dedicating my Decembers to these mixes, around ambient tones, piano tunes, and streams of consciousness. Each year the concept changes but the spirit remains the same.

For the 10th anniversary, I had to do something special:

This year, I’ll be playing edits that I worked on exclusively for this mix: tracks from Yuzo Koshiro to Keith Jarrett, Nujabes to Vangelis, synth heroes, and OST legends.

But there are also a few original compositions: some from the Dice Game project I will be showcasing around the first semester of 2023, some that didn’t make the cut for my first album.

Because, yes, after a few years of hiatus, my debut LP was finally sent to mastering last week. But more on this later…

In the meantime, have yourselves a Merry Christmas.

Puisant son inspiration dans l’énergie brute de la raves 90 et ailleurs, Floodygo façonne des sets où se mêlent profondeur, rythmes breakés et envolées aériennes.   Installée dans le sud-ouest de la France, elle nourrit son univers musical à travers une quête perpétuelle de nouveautés, explorant les scènes émergentes et dénichant des pépites sonores aux quatre coins de l’Europe.  Son approche instinctive du mix lui permet de tisser des atmosphères aussi hypnotiques que percutantes, où les basses enveloppent, les kicks kickent avec précision. Refusant toute frontière, Floodygo sculpte des voyages sonores où se croisent influences UK, euro trancy vibes, synthés 80's, textures deep et échos rave, créant ainsi une expérience de tous les sens.
