Was in need of track after dropping 2 from the album I'm working on. I started working backwards from a riff in another song i wanted to segway into, but ended up making something new.

An idea of the song was "diiv" meets "king gizzard" and the end becomes a bit of a prog-rock riff dance inspired by scale the summit.

Im planning to add some ethreal dreamy vocals to this and perhaps expand the song longer.

Palmer is a three-man outfit from Northwest Ohio who combine indie rock with thoughtful lyrics and dueling senses of groundedness and playfulness. Influenced by artists like Elvis Costello, Talking Heads, Wilco, Tom Petty, and the White Stripes, Palmer is a smart, fun, creative, straightforward listen. While members Jon Brasfield (vocals/guitar), David Hamblin (bass), and Nick Piper (drums) are no stranger to stages across the midwest and southeast, their debut as a unit is coming in 2024 with the release of their first two-sided single, "Ghost Town/Tennessee". This will be followed by two more single releases, culminating in the release of their first EP, "Morning Came".
