Cherelle - Saturday Love (Jpye & Iamrobd Lovers Rock Remix)

I cannot find much info about L.S. Manera, but it seems to be a specialist in creating gorgeous Italo disco songs that have fallen into obscurity. I've always loved the obscure track "Sombrero," which is arguably their best work—very Balearic. The original vinyl is so expensive that it’s almost impossible to get, so a big thank you to Disco Segreta for reissuing it this year. Grazie! 🙏

But L.S. Manera also has also recorded another great tune that my friend Monodominical shared with me a few years ago called "Bulli E Pupe." It features a fantastic performance in Italian rap and a wicked bassline, but here’s the issue: the track has practically no low end. 🤌🤌🤌

So, here is my attempt at addressing this issue, with new kick and bass and some mastering. I hope this can breathe new life into this quirky Italian gem.

This deep house infused remix of MJ Thriller made in Hackney (London) by Leonidas and Jpye back in 2012 received lots of love at the time despite not being mastered properly and only released as a 320kbps mp3.
