Over the last few years, Gomma's little sister Toy Tonics has become one of our favourite labels here at THUMP. Specialising in the kind of low-slung deep house we're total suckers for, every new 12" has us rushing to the shops with our wallets ready, willing and able to splash out.

Their next release, courtesy of up and coming duo COEO, is a fabulous five track platter of afterparty ready house that we simply can't get enough of. Given that, we're incredibly excited to be bringing you lead track "Back in the Days". Soak it up right now.

Not Safe For Wax slides into it's first release with head honcho Miagma's Her Palms EP, which delivers four cuts of emotive, warehouse ready tunes, thawed out and prepped for these winter months!

The title track sets us off, combining rattling hats, blurry pads and one tough cookie of a kick to make a banger Beato would be proud of. On remix duties is everyone's favorite UK based Spaniard Pépe, bringing us back to those early days of Ibiza with his soaring balearic vibes. 

The B side flips the script on genres entirely, rumbling through with Untitled #3, a breakbeat-to-broken foot of a floor stomper. Finishing out our journey is Anguish Lagoon; a proper tribute to junglists and jungles alike!

"This takes me back! 1991... Joe, Damo and I used to hit every Biology at the docks. We were young and skint, but somehow managed to always make it to the rave. We were so up for it! The vibes were sick… good music… best mates... and the ecstasy… mannn those little fuckers (Damo from Carlton north, if you ever listen to this on here, hit me up brother!). I’m a family man in my 40s now but this music takes me back to my 20s, I close my eyes and I can still feel the rush, the heat of everyone crammed into those warehouses and the huge, stupid grin on my face.”

HYGIENE

Reworking a big tune is never a simple task, especially if after 7 years the tune in question is still one of the highlights in
shows of one of the worlds most beloved live act performers, KiNK.
That’s only half of the story though, as the tune got a lot of love from so many DJ’s all over the globe.
However, for the 17th burek release, we wanted to do something really special and what could be better than giving new
life to a piece of music which literally gave life to our label. And we gathered some very interesting people for the job.
A1 KiNK - Leko (Kink’s Bass Shake Version) is a rework by none other thank KiNK himself. The original is a party
monster as it is, so Strahil opted for an alternative approach that sheds an interesting light on a familiar song. Huge
resonating bassline

A2. In 2013 KiNK had an successful E.P. with Rachel Row called Follow The Step which had a major impact on both of
their careers. Later while touring with Rachel she had an idea to put some vocals on top of the first Leko track, which
now turned into a completely different, slow track with the familiar piano melody.

B1 KiNK - Leko (Session Victim Remix) is a wonderfully subdued take on the original. It keeps all the main elements we
all know and love, and enriches them with a more percussive feel, well placed guitar licks and an overall easier mood. All
that said, don’t make a mistake with thinking this is something for the living room as this one’s made for those special
daytime/sunset/sunrise moments when a tune like this turns the situation into something everyone will take home with
them.
B2 KiNK - Leko (Original Version) is the tune, in all it’s glory and attitude. Full-fledged peak time house track which turns
every party into a steaming pit of bodies asking for more. Too hot to ignore.
