Gnork and Luv*Jam have been working together for more than 5-6 years now, doing lots of gigs, remixes, collaborative EPs, appearing on various compilations. They have always worked a little bit more than what they let us think, accumulating tons of unreleased gems. The time has come to reveal some hidden goodies and we're proud to be premiering one of these secret blorpers from their new EP 'Bonus Blorps', out on Crow Castle Cuts.

The original Blorp93 yellow vinyl surfaced in 2013 and was championed by the likes of RVDS, Bradley Zero, DVS1 and Wolf Music. Since this time, there have been a few secret cuts floating around here and there, some of which lots of people were 'demanding' to be pressed. Your prayers have been listened, those very secret Blorpers are here on one precise 12", and for starters you can listen to 'Sexxxx in Space' from Gnork's infamous Lost In Budapest Mixtape. The music of Genius of Time has always been defined by a certain elegance and grace. Finding new ways into and out of the labyrinth that some people call (deep) house, one the Swedish duo’s inner strength is the uncanny ability to create tension, sustaining and playing with it, before rewarding the listener (or dancer) with a fulminating mirror ball. Same goes for their treatment of percussive elements. 
„Peace Bird“, the opener of GOT’s EP of the same name, is a prime-example of that technique: a tight build-up and an intricate breakdown lead to heavily strings and foolproof floor finesse. Coming along with „Smiling Into Eternity“ that mellows you down easy as well as the club ready  „Rymd01“, the whole thing is a more than worthy successor to GOT’s first EP for Running Back almost five years ago. Niceness unlimited. Nerd facts: most of the elements of these three tracks here were recorded live and then mixed down on a reel to reel. No safety net, no double bottom!  Genius of time and genius of love.

On September 4th, Peckham-based DJ and producer duo ​Chaos In The CBD ​will announce their ​In Dust We Trust ​UK & Ireland tour, and share a stream of their new track ‘Come Together’, from their upcoming 12” ‘Come Together / Digital Sound’.

The ​In Dust We Trust ​label tour will see the duo playing extended sets on a six-stop tour across the UK & Ireland, with stops at Manchester’s ​Hidden,​ London’s ​Corsica Studios ​and Brighton’s Patterns, ​with support from IDWT label co-founder Jon Sable.

They have also shared their new track ‘Come Together’, a jacking, percussive heavy hitter which features searing synths and a fierce bassline, from their new EP to be released on their IDWT imprint this October.

Louis from ​Chaos In The CBD says: “​Beans, Sable and I had been spitballing the idea of running a label for several years prior to moving to London in 2012. The turning point was getting a tattoo of IDWT on my arm in Paris, which for me meant I had to follow through with the project. After a long period of back and forth and feelings of trepidation leading up to the first release, the label has since gone from strength to strength.

The purpose of IDWT has always been to serve as an outlet to release our own music without being at the mercy of external labels, whilst also retaining full control of the project both musically and aesthetically. Our goal has always been to release timeless music that we will be proud of for decades to come. It’s been a natural progression since conception, and running label nights feels like the next logical step and will allow us to highlight some of our exceptionally talented DJ friends.”

Chaos In The CBD look set to close out 2019 on a high with a jam-packed worldwide tour ahead, including their ​In Dust We Trust ​label UK & Ireland tour, and stops at Tokyo, Melbourne, Montreal, Paris and Amsterdam.
