Carved out of the deep underbelly of driving electro, beautiful landscapes come to the surface in this 8 track journey Influx EP by DJ .wav. The turbulence of rumbling yet metered rhythms and ice-sharp staccato basslines, layered with FM-synth pads, are only just some of the blended elements this artist, who has released on the labels a friend in need and Special Species Records. The release, by German-based label Too Rough 4 Radio’s Rough Cuts 04, captures club energy with joint forces in moody electro bliss for effective dancefloor weapons for all environments.

For the next release on the label, @undersoundlondon reaches to the Caucasian country of Georgia with this electro 4-tracker from Generali Minerali. The up-and-coming artist is the booker and sound engineer at the Drama Bar in Tbilisi. He opens the EP with two darker jams with swirly 303 lines on steady 808 rhythms. Influences from the late Microlith permeate these tracks, as the artist mentions him as one of his biggest inspirations. The B-side slows the tempo down with '808 Dream' where delayed melancholic melodies are intertwined with rough saw waves. Finally, “Evening Mood” offers the perfect mood for a warm-up or after-party with its downtempo swing and drums.

There were glimmering colours and flickering lights which danced and bounced between the four walls of the grand old hall. Inside it revellers moved in a euphoric trance, engulfed by the saidas touch, a hypnotic force which bound them together and kept them moving in ignorant unison. It was a beautiful, magnificent thing - strangely fascinating to watch as each dancer moved simultaneously in time with the rumble and banging of drums as a myriad of colours exploded and flashed. 

Dj Willie Oboe is back and when I say that it will likely mean very little. However, if I were to tell you that it's a magical new moniker for one of the members of the infamous hardware inspired duo Frak you might be more excited. They are set to release a new EP on Lost Control, a somewhat more house focussed affair than their usual. However, it still carries that rough and ready, signature Frak sound.
