He walked atop the padded floor across the gym, taking in the uncomfortable stares and awkward glares from onlookers. The machines rattled, raced and echoed as people pushed their bodies to the limit, testing their endurance and strength. The room was hot, the heat reverberated between dense writhing figures and soon too he would feel just as phased by the dizzying warmth. Now as he approached his station he began to move and sway, for his workout, his routine was a dance. 

Escape Artist is a producer we've kept a close eye on over the years, having released a number of tracks which have caught our ears. The Australian producers latest appearance is on a compilation by Truth, a sprawling affair which features cutting edge electronics and material for the dance.

The tribe, by releasing their compilation, wishes to offer a canvas for primary emotions, rhythms and thoughts. Oscillating as much by the bpm as by the intensities, the canvas is big enough to portray your feelings.

Both producers combine to create Future Architects — a new project forged between like-minded spirits with musical passions for driving dub techno and grounded in sweaty mid-nineties parties. 

Rose, a Hanover-based, Ukraine-born producer, brings her classically-educated depth with producer Florian—label head of Charmin Records and co-founder of Too Rough 4 Radio—where they explore their mutual love for raw and edgy dancefloor bangers.

Prophetic Dreams. Marking it as the second release on Rose’s label "Solid Wood", Dreams builds upon the label’s ethos, rooted in honest yet uncompromising music, with tracks that range from driving dub techno in "Unseen Realms," burning IDM breaks ("Renaissance"), ascending melodic techno house ("Universe"), and an experimental acid 2-stepper in the closer, "Hierophant."

The Women Everyday series is a passionate celebration of women's talent, everyday.

In this EP composed entirely by women, each track bears an evocative female name. They take us on a sonic and cultural odyssey through time by inviting us to navigate the mind towards distant mystical lands.

Finally, Emika Elena's last track Stella incites a trance from the very first notes with its shamanic cadence. Like a ceremonial closing, its tribal rhythm and percussion recall forms of primitive music, resonating through wood metal and hide.

Blending electronic music and piano, Emika's musical world is often described as a "hypnotic darkness", which intersects with expressions of ambient, experimental and techno in her mixes.

@dj-postkiste – better known under his real name Simon Klotz – is a 28 years old DJ and music producer, based in Mainz. He discovered his love of music at an early age through classical guitar lessons and the first records that his father gave him. Today he is a well experienced and talented vinyl selector and DJ of all kind of electronic music. He is mostly known as a resident at the legendary Missing LINK partys based in Darmstadt / Germany. 

Whether he's playing some heavier styles of techno or softer house music, he always manages to keep that stuff groovy and chooses tracks that have a special something.

Meanwhile he is focusing on some own productions and first releases under his new alias DJ Postkiste. You better stay tuned and enjoy his vinyl-mix!
