Jonzon - The Salute

The latest release from Alan Dixon's burgeoning Love Attack Records comes from Mass Density Human. Music choices could’ve been very different were it not for an older brother with technics and a diverse record box. 30 years later - after many false starts and life distractions - he's finally getting music down on paper. With the first releases coming mid COVID lockdown and carrying more timber like everyone else, Mass Density Human was born.

Italian producer Philip Lawns creates a masterful retake on Great White Shark's stellar instrumental track ‘Someone Else’s City’. An ambient intro is penetrated by punchy electronic percussion and before long the synth hook from the original makes its way into existence. The remix repurposes the driving indie bassline for hypnotic electro notes and the guitars for synths that blend seamlessly together giving the song a new identity. The track’s slow burning feel is always moving forward as it twists and turns its way through creative new interludes which explore a light and shade that surprises the listener at every turn. An impressive result on top of what is already an exceptional track.

Monokompatibel are Michael Wirtz, Andreas Kolinski and Severin Schultze. They feature the artist BlackIsBeautiful in their second EP for Trapez ltd.
The follow up EP fishes more in deep waters especially the track: "Borborygm". Its minimal techno style features a stronger melodic note due to BlackIsBeautiful who has reworked some of his ideas together with Michael Wirtz and Andreas Kolinski .
"Nincompoop" is more stripped down but contains a reduced acid sequence that is very playful but nevertheless has a strong German identity to it.
The track "mRNA" contains micro percussive elements that create a subtle nervous energy on behalf of an atmospheric sci-fi soundtrack with is thoughtful and establishes a momentum which is well maintained.

Hailing from Madrid and a child of the mid 70's; Rober Alonso sparked his interested in music at a very young age - Playing various clubs and events, especially in Madrid and Edinburgh. 

Growing up immersed in the electronic music of the 80s and 90s, it is clear to understand where his influences derive from.  In recent years he has begun to release productions with slow beats and a dark cut from which his new project arises as "Calma Tensa".

Lower Saxony's best-kept secret, Heideton Records, returns with their most ambitious and comprehensive release to date, a double pack titled Green. Green taps into the rich history of European house and techno, from Panorama Bar to Bar25 royalty, while also championing a new era of producers and cult label favourites. On the first of two EPs scheduled for release this year, Green Part 1, Heideton has curated the finest club weaponry, from ‘tears on the floor’ deep house to sinewy and psychedelic techno. The cheeky Philippe Brown—member of the duo La Punta Bianca (released on the Berlin label Detriti), who also operates as a crooner under the pseudonym of ‘René Couteau,’ and a dance-music producer under ‘Raymond D. Barre’—unlocks this once lost attaché case, music that is irresistible! From the top of his North-east Parisian control tower, he ironically fantasized about a life in business class (disastrous carbon footprint to boot), going from one retro-futuristic air terminal to the next. He soothes his jet-lag with his faithful Juno 106, and his Vermona drum machine. He breaks out the base for the most epic moments of this espionage-laced thriller: Think subtle glances on long-distance flights, check-ins and check-outs last name first, airline seats covered in moleskin, microfilm concealed in hidden compartments, one-night stands through veils of cigarette smoke.
