Its unforgettable melodies and innovative sound design captivated me growing up, sparking my passion for music creation. This track, hands down, inspired me to start composing my own songs. With this cover, I aimed to honor the one true King that was Ben Daglish, his original's timeless energy while adding my personal touch, hoping to evoke the same sense of wonder it gave me.

This song is born out of one of the most shattering moments in the novel. Isaac lies in a hospital bed, caught between life and the grip of addiction, while Grace stands at the edge of her breaking point. She has poured out her love, her strength, her hope — but in this moment she realizes that no matter how much she wants to, she cannot fight his battle for him. The song carries both her desperate plea and her heartbreaking release: the tension between clinging to love and the painful acceptance that she must let go. It is the sound of a soul torn between hope and surrender, between devotion and survival.
