Record label and collective femme culture return after a year off the grid with a new look and a fresh new compilation in aid of U.N. Women’s Safe Spaces Now. HeForShe x femme culture Vol. 4 brings the label’s charity series into its fifth year and enlists a who’s who of
rising stars across the electronic spectrum.

Featuring artists from three continents and with sonics spanning across UK bass, euphoric vocal-driven banger and leftfield techno, HeForShe x femme culture Vol. 4 demonstrates the breadth of the London label’s uncompromising style.

Funds raised by HeForShe Vol. 4 will be donated to UN Women and will be split equally between their Safe Spaces Now programme (which looks to create safe public spaces for all women and girls) and their Ukrainian relief efforts - delivering on the ground for women and those at risk.

WL//WH is pleased to premiere the closing track, "Introspecteuf", of the forthcoming debut EP "La Lune Brille" via the French label, Human Disease Network, from Rennes-based producer and member of the ÖND collective, Lemon Schaden.

The 4-track EP delivers a heady and intricate hybrid of hypnotic downtempo club rhythms and emotive spacey atmospherics, built on stripped and glitchy techno, chilling Trip-Hop, and tweaked-out Electro with intoxicating resonant Bass tones and crunchy Breakbeat grooves.

It's the story of a road, a never-ending path. The story of a night that grows longer and lasts longer. Along with her story, it goes through a before, an after, and a present moment.
In the beginning, there's the party, in the massive alchemy of a booming culture. A free and unbridled party, in a crossroads of sound, in unison. The rhythms, sometimes tribal, sometimes haunting, blend with a tormented melancholy. Closed in a box, open in a field, the aim is the same: to lose all its elements. Then time stops and space expands. Darkness reigns as the mind gradually ignites until it reaches explosion point. Consciousness vibrates as the body comes alive. The orchestra grows louder and louder until it reaches its peak. Finally, reality returns, a future that hurts. The clock starts ticking again, and the field of vision narrows. The temptation is strong to flee, to hang it all up. One last time, the eyes lift, the moon shines and then it's gone.

Two months after releasing 'Swinging Flavors #13' from Naco, Milan-based imprint Beat Machine gears up to issue 'Nebula Dub Explorations' LP from Treviso-based producer Antonio Marini, better known as Healing Force Project...Our standout track from the album is "Open The Doors Of Time And Space". The producer embarks on a cosmic pilgrimage, navigating the shadowy corridors of intergalactic lineage and unraveling a space-time collapse that pushes dubstep's experimental boundaries. The track kicks off with disorienting soundscapes, evoking the pull of unseen gravitational forces, before swiftly transitioning into fractured drum patterns and elongated basslines. In the second half, the track erupts into feverish bursts of breakbeats, building a tension-soaked crescendo that grips the listener in its orbit.

Giulia Rae is a Brussels-based sound artist known for blending creative coding with innovative sound design. Her work crafts immersive sonic landscapes, marked by intricate digital textures and deep bass. Giulia has performed live internationally and released her latest EP O in March 2024 under the Riforma label. With past releases on labels like Søvn Records and ovaal, she’s also a familiar name on the airwaves as a DJ and works as a composer for theatre, dance, and multidisciplinary projects.

Having kicked off the new year in style, playing at LWE NYD at London's Tobacco Dock alongside Paul Woolford, Bicep, Huxley, B.Traits and Adam Beyer, Ejeca's already looking forward to the year ahead with the promise of an EP on Flash Recordings (Jan. 22) and a remix for Spanish label Suara (Feb. 1). In the meantime, we've got an exclusive mix from the Northern Irish DJ and producer to share with you.
