A deep Gandalf-ish horn is heard from a distance through the looming, deep fog as KABLAM’s contribution to STORA SKUGGAN’s mix series unfurls, and… Wait — you thought you had it all figured out, didn’t you? OK, sure, but it’s actually time for a rascal jungle-beat totally crashing the elf party, followed by a brazen 2024 lo-fi-interpretation of a modern r&b classic, ending up in a chugging left-field analogue house-stomp. Swedish producer and DJ @ka-blam has filtrated her equally magic, equally chaotic mega-noise-world into a restrained, pulsating, deep soundscape, perfect for heading into crispy, tenebrous autumn days.
