"Bonfido Disques's 8th baby is here and Panama Cardoon is coming with a three track EP made with love in Greece. Tested in various post-covid dancefloors, these crowd pleasers are finally coming out. The spearhead on A1 is "Awana", a tropical disco-house tune, a proper time travel machine that just landed on a african wet and steamy discotheque dancefloor in 1986. On the B1 is "Right On Time", and the time travel machine's next station is 1987. We are at a New York block party now. A steady disco slow builder that keeps giving. Heavy beats on a warm bass with a repetitive and almost dionysiac female chorus. Last but not least we have "I Want You", a crossover track between 1970's Napolitan Disco and Mexican brass music made in Tijuana. Enjoy!"

Hi friends! 
It has been a long time since my last submission for the Rubber Duck series, so I decided to take advantage all this free time staying at home these days. Spending this last week selecting some of my favourite tunes at the moment and came up with a gargantuan mixtape. Around 70 tracks squeezed into 3 hours, from different decades, genres and parts of the Globe, for the body, mind and soul. Enjoy :)

It's no secret that Rafael Aragon is one of the best world music producers out there. Back in 2015 when I contacted him to remix "Deseos" I knew that he was going to deliver something astonishing. He transformed the track into a nostalgic and electronic peruvian chicha, with the hypnotic andean charango prominent through out the song. His remix is still giving me the chills.

Panama Cardoon is an Athens - based record producer, DJ, label head, radio host and former DJ tutor. The first time Kostas took over the decks was around 20 years ago and ever since he has been performing in festivals and venues across the World in Europe, North America, Africa and Asia, had his music featured in documentaries and his tracks supported by BBC Radio among other stations worldwide. Blending a wide variety of dance genres including World Electronic, Exotic Disco, Breaks, Hip Hop and everything in between, all in the atmosphere of a tropical warm breeze.
Kostas is currently releasing tunes on Bonfido Disques with the obscure sold out 12" vinyl records, hosting a monthly radio show on the infamous Radio Alhara in Palestine and ghost producing music under half a dozen undercover aliases.
