@krotone brings his unmistakable brand of garage and breaks to Scuffed Recordings on his 16 Deck EP.

Leeds-based producer Krotone is one of the most unique producers working in garage and breaks in recent years, with releases on labels like DEXT, Of Paradise, and DPR, alongside appearances at Outlook Festival and some of his hometown’s most prominent venues.

Krotone’s sound flits between 2-step UKG and breakbeat with a healthy serving of groove, bass weight and dub influence. Produced on a hardware setup, Krotone’s sound is shot through with an upfront rawness that makes his tracks stand out in a crowded field.

His 16 Deck EP features three new tracks, from the the lurching swing of opener ‘Watch’, to the satisfyingly wobbly title track, and closing with the taut, stuttering 4x4 and spaced-out dub chords of ‘Original’.

Since October 2023 Israel have carried out mass bombings targeting Gaza, Palestine. A year later the situation doesn't seem any better, and the civilians of Gaza are still suffering.

Once again we have turned to our community and asked for their help and contribution to create VOL. 2 of Good Deed Dubs. Just like VOL. 1 this album consists of forgotten tracks and dubs produced by some of our small country's finest and most promising talents.
Huge thank you to all the artists for their time and contribution making this release a reality.

All the proceeds from the sale of this album will be forwarded to Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke and their efforts in Gaza.
