In what feels like a short amount of time, @FiestaSoundsystem has established himself as one of the UK's most promising young producers. With tracks landing on UK favourites such as Warehouse Rave and ec2a, the producer has become a consistent supplier of break-laden bangers, with this latest EP coming via @OfParadiseRecords.

They gathered at night beneath the cloak of darkness - they nestled themselves amongst a network of tunnels and lurked beneath bridges. For they were the triads, the rogue ones in a city so neat and polished.

Soon they would venture out into the suburbs to cause mischief and reap the rewards of their magnificent criminal empire. They were the real kings of this town - not those in the ivory tower blocks and the skyscrapers which illuminated the fog hanging thick above in the distance.

This was another world entirely..

Eclipse Tribez ready a new compilation of club driven heat, spotlighting an array of talented up and coming producers. This Debba track is sun kissed and rhythmic, ready for the festival circuit and destined for those perkier, melodic sets with a percussive twist.

Once again on the Roska Kicks & Snares imprint, we are back in business to unveil a very exciting new EP drop from a returning face we are thrilled to see. Following on from the previous launch of his ‘A49 / Rudey’ EP, we are truly excited to welcome back the sounds of SPD, who has been on an absolutely killer run, spreading a fusion of UK funky and bass music around the land alongside a number of different label projects such as Eatmybeat & Durkle Disco, with some seriously high levels of impact.   

This new project is made up of three absolute scorchers, again treading the thin line between UK bass and funky, combining different electronic elements and rhythmic themes to generate something completely new. We open up with the title track ‘Caught Napping’, an almost techno inspired sweep through vibrant syncopated drum lines and eerie woodwind overlays, all of course wrapped up in a sumptuous piece of bassline production.

Next, a track that leans slightly more towards the UK funky end of the spectrum as the busy drum work and more minimal backdrops of ‘Drum Squad’ are unleashed, causing a highly energetic output to occur, linking together nicely with scattergun sub punches, unpredictable LFO thuds and unorthodox woodwind toots. Finally, a much more UKG-centric sound as ‘Hepcat’ delivers broken-beat drum rhythms, lofi synthetic processing and super catchy vocal designs, all culminating in a euphoria-inducing breakdown that will have lighters in the air across many a dance this winter.

The whole feel of this project is extremely refreshing, with a clear and concise set of different influences all playing their part in pushing SPD’s sound forward into previously unexplored realms of underground dance music.

A new place for their friends and like minded artists to call home, Vienna (named after the city in which they met) kicks off with a three track ode to 90's IDM and rave culture. 
Heavy on the atmospherics, opener ‘Stay Young’ weaves field recordings and background noise between primal melodies and UK breaks for an immersive and deeply ethereal cut. ‘Butterfly Walk’ takes you further into the rave, blending classic 90’s euphoria with uplifting piano chords and twisted acid synths, before Stanley’s nostalgic anthem ‘I Neva Said it’ closes out the EP by reworking a David Grant vocal over a kinetic electro beat.
Recreating all the experiences and emotions of raves gone by, but through a contemporary lens, Vienna001 offers an impressive glimpse into what’s in-store for the fledgling imprint.
