Transmitting from one of Belgium’s most promising electronic dance spaces, the Garage at Horst club. It’s the most intimate room of the club. Ko-designed, ko-invented and ko(be)-built by the deejay behind this live recorded Basic Moves mix: Kuba’97 ! 

Kobe is part of the early generation of Horst alumni. From his early 20ies he has been involved in this world leading and ultra professional hybrid architecture, art, culture and (club) music festival. They are organising a yearly festival in May and a burgeoning club space that operates throughout the rest of the year on the Asiat site just outside of Brussels. Back in 2018 Kobe started together with a crew of music heads and dreamers a nightlife collective called nacht which operated from the socio-cultural spot Stelplaats in Louvain. This being said Kobe is also the head of production at our Beautiful Freaks parties, a fantastic cook, creative DIY handy person, cider maker, pizza master & great human to have around anytime of the day or night. 

Now let’s put some attention to what Kobe loves the most … records! He has been working hard, digging through the fruitful orchard that is dance music (and beyond), to make his own special brew. This live recording is a perfect reflection of what he loves and has discovered over the last couple of years. We hear shreds of deep techno, spaced out minimal, 80s inspired body music workouts, psychedelic oddities, proggy weird b-sides…and more; definitely not the easiest spread to put together. In Kobe’s hands these three and a half hours are a cruizin’ ride, produced in the dj booth he has built and danced-to by the community Brussels has been (re)building over the last decade … with Kuba’97 unquestionably at the heart of it.

ELIXIR is a Reformer Pilates concept and podcast series by OLITA, born as an extension of Panorama Barre. Where Panorama Barre channels high-energy club tunes, ELIXIR showcases calmer, more trippy soundscapes—designed to hold space for the slow, intentional nature of this practice.

“This mix was created to guide my Reformer Pilates fitness classes through September and October 2025. Each track reflects a stage of the flow, designed to draw you deeper into the body while weaving movement and music into one seamless experience.

We begin with spacious ambient textures, perfect for grounding breathwork and body awareness. The energy rises into chuggy acid and trance-laden downtempo—steady and immersive, keeping the body moving while resisting the urge to rush. As the session comes to a close, the music dissolves into dreamlike ambient and IDM, creating a reflective space to soften and stretch.

ELIXIR is both practice and escape. I hope this resonates."

Panorama Barre blends my favourite high-energy club records with Barre— a workout where every movement follows the beat, drawing inspiration from Ballet, Pilates, and Yoga.

ELIXIR, my newer concept, takes the same philosophy but in a slower, more grounded direction. With calmer mixes to reflect the nature of Reformer Pilates, it offers space to move mindfully while staying immersed in the music.

Both classes create a unique environment for club-goers and music lovers to nurture their wellbeing away from the dancefloor. It’s a fun, engaging way to balance contrasting lifestyles—and for me, it completely transformed my relationship with fitness. My hope is to guide you to that same feeling.
