We Conquer The World

Blue Skies and Better Days features ten songs about travel, relationships, politics, and sharing drinks with friends. The songs came together organically over several years as the members of the band gradually melded all of their varying influences into something they call “country-flavoured indie folk punk”. And with one listen, you’ll know exactly what they mean. A little twang here... such as on “Ballad of a Lowly Gent”, a bit of folk balladry there... such as on “Golden” and “Where I’ll Lay My Bones”, and an undercurrent of high energy driving rhythms through everything... especially on songs like “Fears and Faults”, “Oceans Apart” and “Vandalized Murals”. So grab your coat and a cold one for the road and we’ll chase these storms away for blue skies and better days.
