Glasgow’s own Brian G makes a powerful debut on OBSCUUR with No Flex, a three-track hardgroove EP built for peak-time club mayhem. With a sound rooted in ‘90s tribal techno and shaped by modern percussive pressure, Brian delivers a high-impact selection of tools that bring relentless rhythm and funk to the forefront.

Known for his driving DJ sets across Glasgow’s underground, Brian G brings that same raw intensity into the studio. No Flex captures his signature blend of rolling basslines, infectious tribal percussion, and tightly looped grooves—crafted for fast-paced, no-nonsense dancefloors.

This release marks a strong entry in OBSCUUR’s hardgroove catalog and positions Brian G as one of the fresh names pushing the genre forward. No Flex is sharp, direct, and engineered for movement—expect stripped-back power with plenty of swing.

Presenting a six-track release from @djdextro, including one collaboration with Portuguese producer Cardao. The project marks DJ Dextro’s first appearance on the label, following years of his tracks being played by Nastia and a shared event in Lisbon in 2023. That connection gradually turned into a conversation about releasing something together. 
The tracks on the EP are shaped by a mix of spontaneous ideas and observations on daily life, society, and broader themes like science and the unknown. Dextro explains that the track titles often reflect his current state of mind or something happening around him — sometimes personal, other times completely random. Each one sits within his established sound: energetic, structured, and focused on rhythm.
