Synopsis:
A procession is taking place at the ancient palace, a place reached in a space between land and time. The gathering of various beings displayed in a mixture of cultures and talents moving along in graceful choreography brought a strange bitter feeling within IO, another familiar feeling. Their long grey gowns depict a sense of celebration and mourning, a balance. The procession seemed to be infinite and with plenty of wisdom to admire.

Procession is track 6th of 10 for the IO-01 album. The song intends to bring forth a profound sense of time and a chance to step forward and participate in the marching of harmony, steps synchronized with a melodic symphony that resonates throughout.

Er schlief und hatte  einen Traum
Und verließ seinen Seelenraum
Frei von seinem Tagesleben
Vermocht er leicht dahin zu schweben

So angenehm  sich fortbewegend
Erreichte er eine schöne Gegend
Wohin er schwebte wuchs empor
Alsbald ein bunter Blumenfllor

Und lustig schwärmten um die Dolden
Viele tausend Falter, rot und golden
Ganz nah auf einen Lilienstengel
Einsam und sinnend saß ein Engel

Und weil das Land ihm unbekannt
Fragt er 
Wie nennt man dieses Land
Hier sprach der Engel 
Ändern sich die Dinge
Du bist im Reich der Schmetterlinge

Er aber wohlgemut und heiter
Zog achtlos seines Weges weiter
Da kam wie er so weiterglitt
Ein Frauenbild und schwebte mit

Als ein willkommenes Geleite
Anmutig lächelnd ihm zur Seite
Und um Sie nie mehr loszulassen
Dacht er die Holde zu erfassen

Doch eh er Zeit dazu gefunden
Schlüpft sie hinweg und ist verschwunden
Ihm war so schwül er musste trinken
Nicht fern sah er ein Bächlein blinken

Er bückte sich hinab zum Wasser
Gleich fasste ein Arm ein blasser
Vom Grund hinauf ihm beim Genick
Doch er entkam mit viel Geschick

Sein Hals war steif und krumm
Nur mühsam dreht er ihn herum
Und ach wie war es ringsumher
Auf einmal traurig öd und leer


Urplötzlich springt aus einem Graben
Begleitet vom Geschrei der Raben
Ihm eine Hexe auf den Nacken
Und spornt ihn an mit ihren Hacken

Und macht sich schwer wie Bleigewichte
Die Hexe quält ihn fast zu zunichte
Bis dass er matt und lendenlahm
Zu einem finstern Walde kam

Ein Jägersmann dürr von Gestalt
Trat hervor und rief  ein dumpfes Halt
Schon liegt ein Pfeil auf einem Bogen
Schon ist die Sehne straff gezogen

Jetzt trifft  der Jäger ihn in sein Herz
Doch erwachte der Schläfer voller Schmerz
Und sprang vom Bette ungesäumt
 Sonst hätt er wohl noch mehr geträumt
