Blondtron's first single in 5 years is a versatile dancefloor-destroying club DJ tool at 70/140 beats-per-minute, with two huge halftime bass drops, bridged by double-time breaks and vocal loops. The repeated lyrics “bounce ass”, and “come on” directly call for booty shaking, which is hard to resist. And descending synth lines with laughter-like bubbling bleeps encourage getting low to the floor, where the massive bass will be felt most fully. Derek Vincent Smith – aka Pretty Lights – invited producers from a wide stylistic spectrum to remix the tracks from his latest album. Derek produced "A Color Map of the Sun" with no intention of having it be an album of dance floor bangers, but rather a collection of music that can be enjoyed anyplace, anytime, all the time.

These 'Remixes' are other artists’ interpretations of his compositions and self made vinyl samples. The tracks are mostly intended to be hard hitting, but they are also just very different. See the track list below for all artists involved in the Pretty Lights’ "A Color Map of the Sun Remixes."

When Dani Deahl approached me with her cat-themed banger, I was all in for a release on Play Me. But I felt the song simply needed MOAR CATS. So I remixed it complete with ALL THE CATS. Yes, those synths are MADE OF CATS. However, no cats were harmed in the making of this remix.
