Finally, I was able to record a polished and legit version of this song. I only had a raw and messy performance of it on YouTube uploaded a couple of years ago. This was requested by a supporting friend from Facebook. It's such a sad song, it had me a bit emo and in the zone, but it helped me feel the song. Lol! I like this song vocal-wise, so I've decided to record it as per request. Here you go! ^_^

When I first heard of this song from YouTube it really caught my attention. Not because of the drums and the beat, but because of the lyrics. It was as if the song talked to me. I've felt what the song was talking about before. Hence, I've decided make a cover. Of course, the song being a OneRepublic masterpiece, it is expected to be vocally challenging. But I was able to survive! LOL!

I enjoyed recording this one, it's been a while. Hopefully, you'll enjoy listening to this track.

This is one of my original songs. I started writing the lyrics back in 2011. It took a couple of heartbreaks before I was finally able to write the whole darn thing. The instrumental was produced by SwenexXx, a good friend from my beloved hometown, Cagayan de Oro.

It has been quite a journey for me and I consider this my unique version of a closure with people and things. The song might sound very bitter, but I invested a lot of emotions in this song. Consider it as a song of a person who got left behind with unspoken words for the people who left him broken and tough. I took my time. Now, here it is. I hope you'll like it!

When I first heard this version, it definitely made a lot sense. The true meaning and goal of the song was masked by the upbeat version of Whitney Houston. I understood the lyrics better when it Sam Smith changed the tempo and made it more of a candlelight vibe. It's actually a bit sad. Because of that, I just had to make a cover of Sam's cover.

So, here it is! My neighbor enjoyed the noise that I made while recording this, I think. LOL! I hope you enjoy it as well! :)
