Harley Benton CLA-15M VS is a great sounding and very affordable Solid Mahogani top acoustic guitar! This was recorded direct via Rode M3 into Behringer UM2 interface and into Reaper DAW . No EQing at all!!! Only added a bit reverb for ambience. This guitar with D'addario EJ16 12's strings sounds so good, very rich and tuned down to C Standard gives lots of dynamics under the fingers! This is likely the best acoustic I've played and I did try expensive brands in the past.

Quilter Superblock US via XLR into audio interface then Reaper DAW. Guitar Tele Fender Vintera 50's Modified. Stereo Upmix and Saturation in DAW but very little EQ and only on guitar touch of treble. No pedal effects were used.

Short bass guitar instrumental of mine. Tried to get a Cello sound, not sure I succeeded. I was struggling with EQ and still think I didn't nail it ... Any tips ? 

Inside the empty room of my soul

 Added a new solo line + doubled the bass line (copy paste)without any FX but added more Mids and took away the low end. Now I have the 1st bass line with low end and distortion/overdrive and this new one melting into a nice thick soup :) So far the theme of the tune sounds good to my ear but I need some more notes in between ;) 
I played this tune on my Harley Benton instruments SC-550PAF single cut guitar and JB-75NA Bass. The drums are from the Digitech RP70 drum machine.

Bass Chat November Composition Contest; This time I could not help by see Dad's kids dancing around this old tired tree trunk and them making a laugh about him. The old tree trunk could not talk but then I suddenly heard him talk to me musically :) He was complaining about these darn kids, generation after generation laughing at him and singing funny songs about him yet they fail to see his deep wisdom. He was a huge tree once upon a time before they cut him down. He sais the humans were jealous of his vast size and wanted to lower him down so he is more on their level. Oh, he feels nothing but pain and disappointment when these kids dance around him, these same kids once they grow into adults will cut down other trees, his kin. Played on Harley Benton SC-550PAF and JB-75 bass. Behringer U-Phoria UM2, Reaper
