Hi everyone! Happy 2024!

Hold tight, this description will be a bit longer than usual. Around December of 2023, I ended up getting back into playing Rivals of Aether and looking into the series as a whole, part of it being in hype for Rivals 2. I ended up finding out a bit late about the existence of the Rivals 2 Workshop Contest, a contest that was held by Aether Studios to have one newly created workshop character added to the official cast of Rivals 2. As of making this song, the submission deadline has been hit, so don't go spending your hard-earned time and energy in a contest you can't even take part in anymore.

When I initially checked it out, the Contest tag had a small handful of submissions, and one of them really caught my eye. That one is Wren, by EquinoxDoodles. I fell in love with the gameplay style and eventually came to the decision to cover the song heard during her victory screen.

I had a lot of fun making this as it tested me on trying a few things I never really tried before. Messing with EQ, different instruments, an actual guitar recording, and a whole bunch of other things that I'm too tired to remember right now (It's 3 AM at the time of writing this description leave me be)! Huge thanks to @sasterdadudester and @marstarbro120 for helping provide some feedback and mixing help.

NOT CANON TO STORYSHIFT

So as far as I know, the CORE in Storyshift is the same as the one in Undertale, since the Gaster role doesn't change(?) Hence why the name of this song is the same as the Undertale one.
Also I couldn't come up with any ideas that I liked for a name, so I just decided to stick with what felt best.
This has been mistaken as a megalo, so I want to confirm that it is a CORE replacement, not a megalo replacement.
Anyway, I've been really out of it for the past months. Most songs have ended up unfinished or shitposts, so I haven't been able to get much decent progress done.
I started this song a week ago and worked on it progressively every day, and I finished it before I could realize it. I'm pretty proud with how it turned out, and I'm going to make sure to not pressure or stress myself with music, and make sure it remains a fun activity rather than a tiresome dedication. Hopefully this will result in better quality of my tracks, and happier moods in my life.
Thumbnail is sorta bland cause I had nothing to work with, but I guess that's okay. I also recently hit 900 followers, but I plan on doing a special for 1000 followers. Either way, thank you so much for yet another milestone, guys. I'm so grateful to have fans and friends like you all.
Anyway, constructive criticism is welcomed, I hope you guys enjoy this. Deep apologies for being so inactive.
