Snow Ghosts return with their sophomore album, “A Wrecking”, the follow-up to their 2013 debut “A Small Murmuration”. Sharing a mutual influence of the shadowy elements of British folklore and the heavier side of experimental noise, a disparate array of references combines to form Snow Ghosts’ bewitching and intoxicating sound. Ross Tones (aka Throwing Snow) and Hannah Cartwright (Augustus Ghost) are now joined by multi-instrumentalist Oliver Knowles (EXES) to pool their individual inspirations, ideas and styles under the moniker of Snow Ghosts.  

Less focused on rhythm and more on melody and instrumentation, “A Wrecking” ebbs and flows to mirror the vocal meanings; the guitars reflect the sea with panning and reverb effects while a haunting electric violin slips in and out of the record’s consciousness.

a sort of imitation of colin stetson saxophone playing, actually just another try to sequence a res-4 feedback patch going into mmf-6. sequenced from er-101 with cv going into the er-102 for volume, filter symmetry and resonance. pressure points and planar helped to get a lively feeling although it is quite a simple repetative sequence.

The electronic music duo Max Lewis and Mirza Ramic, aka Arms and Sleepers, has been actively releasing music since forming in Boston, Massachusetts back in 2006. Their sound has spanned electronic, trip-hop, ambient, and hip-hop genres, among others. With several dozen releases and extensive worldwide touring under their belt, the duo is now gearing up for what looks to be their most serious musical undertaking yet: a six-part music release to be made available throughout 2020.

The Luxembourg-based music producer @SunGlitters has once again been tasked with mixing and co-producing the new Arms and Sleepers material. He's been a frequent collaborator since 2016, and the two artists—along with Little People and CNJR—also came together last year to start their own record label Future Archive Recordings. The forthcoming Arms and Sleepers album will be the artist's first full-length release on the new label.

Arms and Sleepers will release their ninth studio album, titled ‘Safe Area Earth’, on January 17, 2020 via Future Archive Recordings. The 1st single 'Give Me This' was released on September 13, 2019 and the 2nd single ‘Ruined By Geography’ was released on October 31, 2019. The third single 'Roman and Mayan' is out now.
