Tears For Fears - Closest Thing To Heaven (Paper Samurai Purgatory Egress)

It's been another few difficult weeks for everyone since the last Closer Distancing session/show/mix. And then when the ugly news broke about hungry children, being "voted against" this last week in Parliament, it's safe to say I was feeling a bit ropey.  

Thankfully there are many heroes looking out for our kids. Parents, teachers, childcare staff. This one is for you. Keep pushing on, keep engaging with each other and always dance. 

Love the way this starts off. Amazing first tune. Tried to keep it quite dark, uplifting, glowing, dirty, acidy melodic and prog vibes. Also ended up going a bit Cream in the mid 90's vibes with tunes from different eras near the end, even though they were from the mid noughties? Hope you enjoy. Please give it a share to those who you think might like it. 

Hope you like the journey of my cat in the artwork of Closer Distancing, too. Just keeping on with the creativity as it's good for mental health in these socially distance times. Plus he's my biggest fan when I play some tunes in our house...
