Demonstration of moving an audio sound source.

Excerpt from a librivox recording of The Time Traveler. 

The reader starts of positioned one meter to the left of the listener and transitions one meter to the right, arriving to a the new position as the reader speaks "duration". The source then transitions back to the left where the excerpt ends. 

This is done using a binaural renderer which uses head related impulse response measurements. The source is given a location on a 2-D coordinate system centered at the center of the listeners head. The x-coordinate is left-to-right and the y-coordinate is back-to-front. In this example the movement of the source is from x-coordinate -1 meters to 1 meter with the y-coordinate set at 0.5 meters (in front of the listener).
