I grew up on Country Music since both my parents use to sing and play in their own band when I was only 6 years old. My mom Joanne would go on to perform Country Music throughout New England and eventually play 6 nights a week at the Wagon Wheel in Massachusetts for years.  She was very loved there with that golden voice of hers she still has at 90 years young.  Though New England isn't where Country Music originated it has its own home here and many talented artists have gone on to carve out a place for the music they love.  This song I wrote tells a story of my youth and the roots of my addiction to alcohol that started when I was so very young in southern New Hampshire.  I finally kicked the alcohol habit in November 2000 and the tobacco habit in 2007 one day at a time.  All these songs I have shared online would have never been without me saying goodbye to what became a poison to me and would have surely taken my life.  Miracles happen.
