Brian Foote aka Leech is a good friend / inspiring mind that has been behind lot’s of wonderful music, and it’s a pleasure to have him join the series after multiple years of hounding him! Projects he’s involved in include co-running a label called Peak Oil, managing Kranky, Nudge, and exploring oblique drum and bass as Leech most recently. Colliding Pin’s dance floor driven productions (No Floors and Red Ribbons from 2024 to name a few) and work as a label admin at Apocalypse Rave Culture feel at home during the month of May in Detroit—aka Movement, aka the Techno High Holiday. Pins, née Joe Wright, departs from the main floor nonetheless in their Moods mix, orchestrating waves of sonic selections across drone, jazz, ambient, and Irish traditional folk.

From sonic interventions in performative and electro-acoustic environments to mixing selections for listening or dancey gatherings. Elvira can be found twiddling knobs in situations for curious ears. Raw, dense & playful, Elvira trespasses genres borders in a sinuous flow to get to visceral zones.
