Battle Against A Freaky Opponent

I created this arrangement to practice writing songs using EarthBound's soundfont. It's one of my favourite Undertale songs, "Ghost Fight", in the style of an EarthBound battle theme. I think it turned out fairly good for my first try, I hope you enjoy it!

Those arpeggios just popped into my head on a whim when I was looking at the Nylon preset in Polyphone, and from there I made the drums, the Strings 3 line, then the melody. I’m really proud of that melody line. It’s simple and repetitive, yet not annoyingly so-- in fact, it’s the opposite. Which is fab. Anyway, after that, I programmed the Telephone line (...kek), then the Unsettling Opponent line, which itself was a serendipity. From there it was simply a matter of getting all the patterns into their final configuration and working on the mixing.
