These Toronto-based musicians need absolutely no introduction, but have been all over the shop in recent times; from Rampage and Liquicity on the festival circuit to countless clubnights and gigs across both sides of the Atlantic. 

This month's release is a piece of music we've been waiting to put out for a long time, having unveiled it in our Hospital Podcast in mid 2024 (ouch, we've been holding this one a while..)

Charter balances a club-focused instrumental against Ana's introspective lyrics, giving us a beautifully indulgent piece fit for headphones and the dancefloor. 

Working with Tyr and Ana has been a dream come true to ourselves, between them having released on every high profile label you could name off the top of your head and having released music we adore spanning back years.

Receptor takes his final bow after 15 years of innovation in Drum & Bass, and Evolution Chamber is marking the moment with 'Receptoration',  a remix project celebrating his legacy.

The first release drops two heavyweights straight out the gate. Gydra fires off a ferocious take on 'Punks', merging neuro precision with jump-up energy. Then Neonlight step in to rework 'Parkour' with soaring melody, slick groove, and that unmistakable German flair.

A powerful start to a project that honours one of Drum & Bass’s most fearless producers. Receptor might be stepping away, but his sound will echo for years to come.

Bodrak isn’t telling a “crashed and came back stronger” story. It’s something else: this is overload. PAPERFUNK RECORDINGS – is a dark drum&bass label which sound will be based on the hard and metallic techstep and neurofunk sound. There’s no place for popular sound. The label’s main goal is to flood cities and towns with the special mixtures containing nano-robots that supposed to get inside people’s brains and plunge them down in the deepest adolescent memories and show them the unrealized future. The hardness of the mix, the steel of the drums, the oil of the bass and the rust of the effects – are the main and crucial keywords of the PAPERFUNK label.
