The rise of the technoid subgenre is directly tied to a particular group of artists and their unique sonic influence during the years 2007 to 2011.

Its peak — the true triumph of technoid — was in 2008, right at the center of this period. That was the golden age of the subgenre we love, when labels like Offkey, Sinuous, and many others were putting out astonishingly heavy releases with utterly mad and unpredictable sound design.
