As many of you know, Coliseum Audio is all about giving artists a platform to unleash their creativity and challenge themselves. We've had our eye on next-gen Drum & Bass artist Skulpt ever since his debut EP 'None' on the Czech label Sinful Maze. Now, we're excited to share his latest EP with the world. This four-track release is packed with neuro-techy vibes and features a much-anticipated collab with LoveTheEND from In The Lab Recordings. Plus, there's a special Dubstep to Drum & Bass track that's just for fun.

Launched in 2018, the SKULPT project is all about pursuing uniqueness and connecting deeply with its audience. Though the message of this enigmatic being remains peaceful, its true nature is shrouded in mystery. Is it a cluster of cells? An alien? A human? Nothing? No one knows, and no one will ever know.

Attention! New prototypes have matured in their capsules and are ready to be tested in tracks. After highlighting the necessary DNA sequences for the PPRFNK collective and the teaching staff of the Neuropunk Academy, we proudly present a unique strain of neurofunk and neurotech rhythms — the release titled "PROTOTYPES LP vol. 2", the continuation of the large-scale experiment born within the walls of Neuropunk Academy.

This release from Paperfunk Recordings encapsulates the invaluable experience gained by students and brought to life under the mentorship of NERV3, a seasoned producer who has already made waves with his releases on PPRFNK, Neuropunk, and many other labels. Under his guidance, 14 students progressed from their first synthesis attempts to creating truly groundbreaking tracks capable of transforming the perception of drum and bass music.

What awaits you in "PROTOTYPES LP vol. 2":
Bass structures, forged within the confines of students' skulls.
Rhythmic patterns, combining the innocence of a beginner with the bold ideas of someone diving deep into the world of production.
Technical convulsions — some tracks, both in arrangement and sound pressure, hint at the authors' wild imagination. At these moments, the map of their brain's electric currents probably goes off the charts.
"PROTOTYPES VOL. 2" is a collection of entirely different perspectives on drum and bass music, not necessarily conforming to any established canons. PAPERFUNK RECORDINGS – is a dark drum&bass label which sound will be based on the hard and metallic techstep and neurofunk sound. There’s no place for popular sound. The label’s main goal is to flood cities and towns with the special mixtures containing nano-robots that supposed to get inside people’s brains and plunge them down in the deepest adolescent memories and show them the unrealized future. The hardness of the mix, the steel of the drums, the oil of the bass and the rust of the effects – are the main and crucial keywords of the PAPERFUNK label.
