Unbalanced is the main charge of the EP. The lyrical intro slowly gains momentum, the female sample breaks through the atmosphere, and then everything explodes into a hard dance neurofunk. This track is like the start of a race: tension, green light, gas to the floor, and the tachometer needle goes into the red zone.

Darkness had enveloped the room for some time now, and yet still its sole inhabitant gazed warily into the void before him. In the colorless light of the night, its character mimicked that of his own mind, filled with anxieties, obsessions, & guilt. The moonlight shone softly through his window, illuminating a pile of unread books at his bedside. He hadn’t studied nearly as much as he should have today. Outside, he could hear passing cars on the street below. No doubt, their drivers were people more industrious than he, working late to improve their lives. Across the room, the fans on his computer hummed gently. Had he really lost a whole day to that machine again?

With each unfortunate waking moment, both room and world seemed to enclose on him. Life was beginning to pass him by. The clock in the hall ticked onwards. He wasn’t making enough money. From a family portrait on the wall, his mother’s eyes stared into his soul. He simply couldn’t fall asleep. The bed rejected him physically, each of the springs in his worn-down mattress pressing uncomfortably into his spine. Dejectedly, the man sat up and stared into the distant dark. INSOMNIA had reared its ugly head once more.

ZIGI SC makes his EATBRAIN debut with INSOMNIA, a three-track EP that follows his previous appearance on the label’s DIVERGENCE V compilation via a collaboration with A-Cray. On INSOMNIA, the Czech producer delivers three tracks sure to energize the label’s horde and keep them dancing wakefully well into the early hours of the morning.

Hi, welcome to my little music blog!
It all started back in middle school. During breaks between classes we would send each other music on our phones with infrared and bluetooth. First it was all pop and rock music, but soon I found out about dubstep and drum and bass. It changed everything for me. I had many mp3 players and ipods full of music. I started going to raves and music festivals. I enjoyed some house, hiphop, techno and even psytrance. It's been a journey and after many years I am still so excited to hear new beats and melodies. I've been constantly reposting my favourite tunes for everyone to enjoy with me! Music just makes me so happy and I am glad if I can make you happy too! Besides partying I listen to music while at work, at home, on the streets or in gym. Basically all the time.
Most of all, I love drum and bass. Mainstream, liquid, rollers, jump up, neuro, jungle... you name it. I have dug deep into the world of drum and bass. This page probably has over 10,000 drum and bass tracks reposted by me that I really enjoyed. A few years ago, my friend invited me to a festival in Belgium, and I fell in love with heavy dubstep. After that, for 2 years straight, I was obsessed with it and even made another page for reposting. I found out about genres like riddim, wave, and trap. At one point I didn't want to know anything about it and deleted the page! Right now this is the only page I use. Maybe one day I will return to drum and bass, but lately I've been feeling crazy and reposting other stuff too. I love good music; I don't care what you call it, and I love to find inspiration in different genres.
For some time I was really into deep house. I love to shuffle (dance). I don't mind some bass house. Slap house? I love that. Club house, G-house, melodic house, electro house, progressive house, and yes, even tech house... whatever. I love house music!
I love big festival music like trap and hardstyle, but I also know what underground techno means. I love hardcore, and sometimes I love chillout.

PS: I really love to dive into other genres but the freakin soundcloud 2k following limit is so annoying! Do i really have to make a new account for each genre? I got big love for over 10k DJs.

PAPERFUNK RECORDINGS – is a dark drum&bass label which sound will be based on the hard and metallic techstep and neurofunk sound. There’s no place for popular sound. The label’s main goal is to flood cities and towns with the special mixtures containing nano-robots that supposed to get inside people’s brains and plunge them down in the deepest adolescent memories and show them the unrealized future. The hardness of the mix, the steel of the drums, the oil of the bass and the rust of the effects – are the main and crucial keywords of the PAPERFUNK label.


Officially speaking, our tracks will be selling out on the majority of the online music stores that’s why it’ll always be easy to find them available on the most popular online shops such as Beatport, TrackitDown, Digital-Tunes, etc.


We’d like to pay special attention to the concept of our label as an engine of progress. New talents will be expressing themselves right before your eyes and soon, behind the battle embrasures the fearless robots who, with the help of lasers and magnetic impulses, are able to bring you the meaning of the Neurofunk and Techstep’s existence, will arise.
