Here’s the opening instalment of Imagine If – a monthly exploration into House and Techno's outer edges. Different eras collide. Sub-genres flirt. B-sides get the red carpet treatment.

Paperplane takes you through two hours of carefully selected tracks spanning decades. Speed garage from 1998 meets 2025 straight up House releases. 

We start deep. The pace lifts. Energy builds. There are moments to breathe, moments that remind you why you love going out to dance.

From next month, guests join for the second hour. DJs and selectors who dig the same way, who have something interesting to say with the music they play. Paperplane takes the first hour, the guest takes the second. In between, a conversation.

This is for music lovers, for closed eye dancers, for collectors, for diggers, for anyone who believes discovery is still possible in music.

Zeynep Erbay is a DJ and producer whose story bends in ways you don't expect. Red Bull Music Academy in 2006. A debut on Compost Records alongside some names you’d recognise. Then, life. Pressure. Anxiety. A non-supportive environment. A step back that lasted over a decade. And eventually, a way back in.

They talk about all of it. The weight of early success. The tension between classical training and the simplicity of a groove. What it means to change cities, change languages, change versions of yourself. And the moment she realised: this is the only thing she can do.

That conversation comes about 40 mins in. Before then, Paperplane warms up with a vinyl-only, straight up groovy house mix. And after, Zeynep's guest mix drifts between worlds with stunning sounds that pull you in slowly, then lift you somewhere you didn't know you were heading.
