Aside from being Papi Juice's kick-ass production coordinator, @laenzzz has become a force in experimental and club sounds. PJ: Tell us about this mix & where you want it to take people.
L: I was on my daily quarantine walk when I came across Día by Siete Catorce and it described exactly how I was feeling in our current atmostphere. Obviously, I didn’t intend to make a mix that instills more panic, so I tried to replicate an amalgam of my favorite club nights. At times it’s sweaty, other times absurd, but it’s designed to be a fun reflection of our necessary confinement. And I hope that by the end, it becomes something that helps you feel a little less alone (come hang with me at my campsite!).

PJ: What’s your daily routine like these days?
L: I’m currently quarantined in my parent’s basement since I’ve been traveling, but I typically get up late-ish and start off with something physically strenuous so I don’t feel bad about being mostly immobile. I try to implement structure into my days, bouncing between reading, finishing projects, checking in with friends, and keeping up with some courses, but sometimes I just succumb to inaction and I’ll watch 30 episodes of an anime show, open up Ableton, and just continue to watch another 20 :disappointed:

PJ: What’s your favorite part about being Papi Juice’s production coordinator?
L: 100% working with incredible humans I gush about constantly to everyone I know. Aside from working on and experiencing the world’s best parties, I get to learn from and witness how they’re always prioritizing their community and thinking about ways they can extend their resources. I usually get teary-eyed when I think about how much I respect them. 

PJ: Now for the real tea, who’s your favorite papi? Adam, Oscar or Mohammed?
