This is the first album, it started as an exercise to improve my skills of composing. It's also a ride through the last 3 years of my life and maybe yours.

Interlude celebrates winter, joy, family and diversity. During december, you can catch a glimpse of the project at the mosaic of screens of the Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme, at Place-des-Arts in Montreal.

Papier Panier Piano is the work of Jean-Sébastien Lavoie, a Montreal-based composer.
Since his teenage years, he has been composing, first as part of rock bands, then for different projects as short-films scores or video game soundtracks.
Throughout the years, he has been exploring many styles on many instruments.
He spent the last three years working only on a piano as an exercise to improve his composing skills. It ended up with Hippocampe, his debut album. A solo piano trop through catchy themes evolving though pieces and even throughout the entire album.
