this material was all created live one piece at a time using a setup consisting of the following:

bugbrand dual PEQ

some atmospheric overdubs and insert samples were created with the ciat-lonbarde sidrax organ.

[pt-br] Neste EP, o Hinky Punk faz uma ilustração sonora de uma invasão na pista. O som inunda o ambiente, preenchendo a pista com grooves dançantes e envolventes que não podem ser ignorados. A sequência das faixas conta a história de um mergulho mental, que parte de uma linha mais clássica do psytrance e leva até uma linha mais obscura e introspectiva do Dark.

Durante o último ano, o artista trabalhou nas faixas de forma a posicioná-las entre suas maiores referências na cena. Ele buscou igualar o nível de qualidade e pressão sonora encontrado em suas linhas de forest favoritas, acrescentando sua visão de "trip" através da identidade do Hinky Punk e do Forest & Dark.

[en] In this EP, Hinky Punk makes a sonic illustration of an invasion on the dance floor. The sound floods the environment, filling the floor with danceable and engaging grooves that cannot be ignored. The sequence of tracks tells the story of a mental dive, which starts from a more classic line of psytrance and leads to a more obscure and introspective line of Dark.

Over the last year, the artist has worked on the tracks in order to position them among his biggest references in the scene. He sought to match the level of quality and sound pressure found in his favorite Forest lines, adding his vision of "trip" through the Hinky Punk and Forest & Dark identities.

Don’t miss the next episode of Looney Moon Records series with MOLE.

Born in May 1987 in Venice, he first met the world of electronic music when he was 14. After having listened to different kinds of music, it is in 2003 that he gets in touch with the world of psytrance. Soon it becomes his stronger passion and he decides to cooperate with some friends (Francesco from Assioma and Winny) to found the “monkey tribe”. They organized several events in Italy during the following years. In 2003 he starts its experience as a dj, however, after 5 years, it became clear that the mixer was not enough, and that playing someone else’s music could not fully express himself. He begins now to take confidence with music production and, after 2 years of hard work in his studio, and even thank to the help and training of his friend Dust, he debuts with mole project in July 2010. This project will be immediately followed by further releases. His music is a mix between the fat jumping baselines from the full on and the psychedelic leads and atmospheres from the night music. The outcome is a groovie psytrance that will pump the dancefloors and blast yours brains for sure.
