This sportscaster has spent a lot of time on Moonbase Alpha, and uses his extreme wealth to fund the site. He thought that this competition would take place in space as well, thinking the flight referred to a rocket of some sorts. Above all else, he wondered... why wasn't he upset at cousin for this? And that was when he heard the hooves clopping through the sand. He turned around and saw... nothing.

Tragedy heard the clopping, once again from behind. He turned back towards the dock, and saw... a monstrosity masquerading as a horse. It was running straight towards him, on top of the ocean's waves. Zalgar laughed.
Tragedy shot his pistol at the beast.
...Then, there was nothing there but the dark horizon above the waves. Tragedy picked himself up off the ground and walked back to his cabin. As he walked, he tried his hardest to ignore the far-off, distant sound of honks. He swore he could hear them, but he knew it was just another of Zalgar's tricks. ...The only other explanation was one he physically couldn't bear to think about.

Don't spend all day staring at the TV, kids! After years trapped in the Televoid with only VHS tapes from the 50s to keep him company, Ian began to... change. Whether it was the chaotic energy of the void or the static of the television that turned him into what he is now is anyone's guess. Thankfully, a certain PBS executive learned of Ian's predicament and decided to give him a job hosting the losers' bracket. His party-throwing knowledge, street safety skills, and willingness to work for free made him the ideal candidate! The void should be perfectly safe for the losers, but perhaps Ian's starvation of friendship or human contact may be an issue...
