T'was the night of the match, and his journey met its end. Opponents saw him not as a rival, but rather, a friend. There was not a mean bone in his body, and he only wished to spread cheer, he was truly something special, for even the cat was here! While he may have not won, he sure as heck had fun. Filling every day with holiday delight, and every night with holiday fright, Jack Skellington ensured that everyone had quite a special flight. He learned much from his competition, and when it ended he never seemed to frown, for instead, he would bring his new stories and knowledge back with him to Halloween Town! He waved goodbye to his former opponents, reminiscing upon each fight, "a thank to you all, and to all a goodnight!"

For now we say goodbye to The Great Pumpkin King, so farewell, Jack Skellington, and thank you for everything.
