Welcome to the fourth installment of Local Underground - RDG. In this edition, RDG takes a vacation to sun-soaked Florida where we find this soulful breaks mix from '99. 

Originally titled, "Soul Candy '99,"  DJSurcotti offers a Florida/progressive breaks mix that bumps from front to back. This Orlando based dj was born and raised in Reading, PA before departing for Florida in the late 90's. However, the DJSurcotti sound was omnipresent for us back in those days. I would return home from visiting Orlando with several cassette tapes worth of DJSurcotti mixes. These tapes, always mixed with precision, were our lifeblood then. I remember asking Damian to "make me one more mix before I leave," and he often would. We treasured these early mixes, and wore the heck out of those tapes...we bandaged them up on more than one occasion. 

So, here is a toast to DJSurcotti, Orlando Resident, and friend of Reading, PA. We appreciate the inspiration you provided through all of your dj mixes.

PARA-NML: The Rising Star of UK Electronic Music Scene
