This track was inspired by an iphone recording captured at a Spirit Festival in Byron Bay where the crowd was chanting in a ceremony led by Murray Kyle. The short capture was looped and edited, extra vocals from Murray Kyle where recorded and the piece was composed into an Ecstatic Dance arrangement for the purpose of community union. This track was originally seeded when I saw Dsyphemic in Mexico and connected with him saying "lets do an Aztek collaboration!" He was instantly up for it so i started by writing the first drop of the track. Dsyphemic then came back and and wrote and even bigger drop! I then arranged and then sent it back him where he composed the final 3/4 section. It was then my time to mix the track. A true testament to remote producer collaboration.

Based on a traditional Drupad piece named Jhini Chadariya
Written by the 15th century Mystic Indian saint Kabir Das.

Lyrics:
The Lord Supreme (Lord Rama) has woven a fine tapestry, delicate and free of impurities of any kind. What refined and subtle yarn, what complex interlacing he has use to weave it. The body is like a finely woven cloth, permeated by breath. The 8 petaled lotus was used as a spinning wheel, and the 5 elements as yarn (a lunar cycle) when the cloth/chadar is completed it is sent to the deyer (spiritual teacher) to colour it. The dyer colours it in red (colour of self realisation). Do we let this cloth be soiled? Or can we keep it clean, with awareness? Can we understand that the chader/body is temporary. Kabir to wear this chedar given to him originally by his guru.
